Careers

Come and build with us

We are a small team, so an intern here is not fetching coffee — you will be given real work, reviewed properly, and expected to ask questions. You will sit with the people who decide what gets built and see a feature through from a sketch to something a client depends on.

What we are hiring for

Fullstack Developer Intern

  • Internship
  • Remote
2 openings

You will work across the stack on client projects and on our own products — building interfaces people actually use, the APIs behind them, and the unglamorous parts that keep both running. You will be paired with a senior developer who reviews your work and explains the reasoning behind it.

What you will do

  • Build features end to end, from the database to the screen
  • Write and consume REST APIs
  • Read an existing codebase and change it without breaking it
  • Take part in code review, both receiving and giving it
  • Help test and ship releases, and fix what comes back

What we are looking for

  • Working knowledge of JavaScript, plus one backend language
  • Comfortable with HTML and CSS, and able to follow a design closely
  • Basic Git: branches, commits, pull requests
  • Something you have built that you can show us and explain
  • Clear written English, and the habit of asking when you are stuck

Nice to have

  • React, or another component framework
  • Node.js, Python, PHP or similar on the server
  • SQL, and some idea of how to model data
  • Exposure to cloud hosting, CI or Docker
  • An eye for design and detail

Write to info@nesion.space with your CV and a link to something you have built. We read every application and reply either way.

How it works

What happens after you apply

  1. 1

    We read it

Every application is read by someone on the team, not filtered by a machine. You get a reply whether the answer is yes or no.

  2. 2

    A conversation

A call to talk through what you have built, what you want to learn and how you work. Bring questions — you are assessing us too.

  3. 3

    An offer

If it is a fit on both sides, we agree a start date and the terms of the internship in writing before you begin.
